The Trophy Club
Most of you know me as an agent of www.Centerfoldstrips.com. I spend countless hours behind my computer booking jobs, video editing, graphics, Internet promoting and creating custom apps for many of you. Or maybe as the guy that made the cake Suzie Malone popped out of at ED Publication’s 20th Anniversary party in Vegas; which, by the way, was the last event I attended! Either way, It’s a rare opportunity for me to actually step out into the real world and immerse myself into the industry which I am in. I was invited last week to go to the Trophy Club in Greenville SC (https://twitter.com/trophyclubs) to see the South East Regional Pole Dance Championship. I usually turn down offers like this because my work tethers me to a desk and computer but this was an event I did not want to miss!
Multiple club owner Jay Levy who has been setting the standards for Gentlemen’s Clubs for many years owns the Trophy Club. It was recently upgraded and designed by Jay himself. I wanted to experience the industry from a club patron’s point of view (relaxing, having fun) and this would be the perfect place.
From the moment I pulled up it was a great experience. It was easy to find and there was ample parking. 
Nobody knew who I was but I was greeted me with a warm southern hospitality welcome. The large club was decorated and laid out meticulously. Obviously a lot of thought was put into it. A wall of mirrors behind the stage gives every one an incredible view of the entertainers. For a unique view Jay had constructed a luxurious skybox! There were so many hot entertainers to satisfy anyone’s taste.
The waiting staff was spot on and friendly. I was surprised that any club still had drinks at such a reasonable price! I was also surprised to see how many female patrons there were. Everyone was having a great time in the relaxed yet exciting environment and I found myself speaking to many friendly people who I’ve never met.
The Celebrity host, Emcee of the night, was none other than the legendary Tony Batman of “A Entertainment” (http://www.tonybatman.com/) who is a good friend of mine and we’ve had the pleasure of working together. Any event Tony appears at is a great one!
We were graced with the presence of last years Pole Champion Katie Sutra (https://www.facebook.com/katie.sutra) who put on a phenomenal show proving why she won last year!
This year’s winner was Ryan Ashley whose unique costume and routine, incredible pole skills and her ability to connect with the audience showed me why so many people love to see her perform. There were feature entertainers, up and coming features and adult stars hanging out in the audience. I wonder whom I will get to meet the next time I am there!
Jay spent a lot of his time mingling with the crowd and shaking hands. I was lucky he made time to personally thank me for coming though it was me who needed to thank him for such a great evening. His charisma and positive energy radiates through his clubs and staff that you really need to experience for yourself! The Trophy Club “Takes the Trophy!”
The Trophy Club is conveniently located near Greenville/Spartanburg Airport (GSP) When I’m flying I will book my flights from there so I will be able to visit the club for a little guaranteed R and R!
For the record, the next event I will not miss is the grand opening, next month, of the upscale Gentleman’s Club. Located in Mooresville NC (Race City, U.S.A) it will be the only club of it’s kind. Owned by a long time friend of Jay Levy I know this will be the place to be. With lunch and dinner buffets, many screens for sports and an atmosphere for men, women and couples alike it will have something for everyone. From what I have heard, we will be seeing the hottest top showgirls in the industry on a regular basis there!
