The Horns Shoreditch
The various legislative changes and changes in the preferred business model have seen that since 2000 while lap dancing clubs have flourished that great old London institution the strip pub has actually reduced in numbers. It therefore came as great news to welcome the Horns to the scene in November 2011 as it is following the jug collection strip pub model while updating the concept by providing a stylish environment which more modern than any of the longer established pubs in the capital.
It is based just a few seconds walk from Old Street tube in the middle of the booming Shoreditch/Hoxton nightlife area. It has had an extensive refurbishment creating a large stage area where old fashioned {ie good unlike in most clubs} full nude stage shows take place while having one of the smartest and best thought out private dancing areas I have seen. There is no entrance fee though there is a minimum £1 jug collection and beer is at normal pub prices while any gaps in the stage show can be filled in by watching one of several Sky Sports showing HD big screen TVs.
It’s open 6 days a week with girls on from around 1pm until midnight and features some of the best dancers on the London circuit, it also has a resident DJ and an excellent but not ear splittingly loud sound system . If you prefer watching naked women perform while drinking draft beer without stratospheric prices and constant hassle this has to be one of the best places in London.
