Strip club customer who spent thousands of dollars on private dancers at a Bath strip club tried to get the charges on his credit card refunded, according to police.

The Strip club customer spent $7,400 on private exotic dancers between July 16 and July 17 at Tattletales Strip Club, 104 E. Main St. in Bath.

Police say that he man then called his credit card company to report that he’d only made one $100 purchase during that time, claiming all other purchases were fraudulent. The credit card company obliged, police say, and refunded the other charges on Tostevin’s account.

But management and employees at Tattletales say the 54-year-old did spent the $7,400 on dancers, police say. None of the charges were made by anyone else at the establishment and none were fraudulent, police determined.

He was arraigned today before District Judge on a charge of theft of services. He was released from custody on $5,000 unsecured bail. Wisconsin stripper arrested
