London Stripper Zoe
Blond, beautiful, brainy…. London Stripper Zoe is this month’s Coverdancer and not only does she possess the chiseled beauty of a Sophisticate – high cheekbones, aquiline nose and the sultry expression of seductress, but is renowned for her intelligence. An aspiring film director, Zoe dances at the famously discreet and plush Sophisticats, situated in London’s fashionable Marylebone.
- Tell us a secret?
Oooh – for that kind of question you’d have to come in to see me, I only tell secrets in person!!
- What first attracted you to working in a table dancing/strip cabaret?
Pole dancing/stripping was always something I’d been interested in! I thought it seemed like a fun and glamorous job, so when I moved to London and needed money I didn’t hesitate.
- What is your favourite piece of costume to dance in?
An itsy-bitsy red bikini!
- What advice would you pass on to a prospective dancer?
There are loads of different types of places to work, find one that suits you.
I love the place I work – I like the rules and the style of dancing – so I can relax, make money and have fun.
- Do you find there is a sleazy element to the industry, and have you experienced this?
Well, it is part of the sex industry!! It depends what you class as sleazy..?!
My club makes sure all the girls consider themselves independent, sophisticated and classy women. In that mind set, I have never felt sleazy.
- What are your future plans?
I love my job, so I will dance for as long as I can.

Do you have any memorable moments?
Wow! There are so many!! We have theme nights at least once a month. The club goes crazy, with decorations and amazing costumes. There is always such a huge buzz in the changing room when we are getting ready and it follows on throughout night – always so much fun.
- Has the strip experience changed your views/perspective?
The first time I danced for a couple was really eye opening – I thought I would be uncomfortable dancing for girls. But actually it is loads of fun!!
