The Famous Browns has been closed for narly 6 weeks

The Famous Browns has been closed for narly 6 weeks as they are doing a major refurb. First time it has closed for more than 2 weeks in 30 old years!  Couple of sneaky previews is that the bar and stage have swapped places. There is more seating areas, toilets moved downstairs and even front door has moved! The opening will be on Friday the 04 of October.

We are back with the London Gossip, after Tyke`s death. Tyke was the inventor and our long time writer of the London Gossip and loads of other articles related to the UK Strip Scene. He`s knowledege of the industry was unicue and he is misssed by many of us.

Sex and Censorship had a public meeting in London on 23rd September.

Last week has seen a rejected licence renewal in Chester, Tower Hamlets approving a nil policy, Worcester finally admitting they failed to adopt to SEV legislation even though they voted to do so  and a messed up licensing hearing in Leeds where a few papers appear to have been kept out of the public realm.

Three weeks have passed since the Platinum Lounge lost there license, after oppenents argued the surrounding neighbourhood had become more residental. Dancers at the club have lounced a bare-all campaigb hitting back gainst a council decisions which they say undermines theus “right ti choose” to strip.

Taboo Gentleman’s club in Grantham lincolnshire got a renewal of there SEV licence and extended to 7 days a week 19:00-04:15 and bank holidays , new years and xmas 19:00-05:00 To stay pdated on this subject see:
