Stripper and Dancer of the month Saphire

I actually started at Stringfellow’s Covent Garden. A friend and I had gone for an audition there and being so new we did not expect to be taken on but in the event they offered us a job straight away

Why did you start stripping ?
Well I have always been keen on dance as a child and had been to stage school plus I had done some modelling so it seemed an obvious way to make money. I started out working in an office and hated it so this looked much more fun.Where did you start ?
I actually started at Stringfellow’s Covent Garden. A friend and I had gone for an audition there and being so new we did not expect to be taken on but in the event they offered us a job straight away.
How did you find it ?
Although it’s a smart club and probably the best known in the UK I didn’t like working there. There are far too many girls on for the size of the place and the number of customers and it creates a bad atmosphere and nasty rivalries between the girls. Unless you are aggressive and compete for customers as soon as they come in the place you won’t make any money and may not even make the house fee which is very high. The stage shows there are pretty non existent and really it’s all about hustle.

Where did you go to from there?
Somebody had told us about the Rainbow Sports Bar in Shoreditch. I went with another girl and we nearly walked out when we saw the place but in the end we stayed, got offered a job right away and I worked there for a few months. Although you would not believe it to look at it I actually found it easier to make money there than at Stringfellows.
I left after a row with the idiot manager who wanted us to work in the dark while a power cut was on. I tried various places like Hustler in Croydon and the White Horse in High Wycombe but these days I mainly work for the Promises agency.

Where can we see you work ?
I do several of the Promises venues especially the Cave at Chelmsford, Composure at Watford, the Elephant and Castle in Farnborough, and the Forrestors at Southend.
Whats the best part about the job ?
The best part I think is that quite often it does not feel like work at all, more like you are on a night out. That’s particularly true if the girls all get on as a team and are not at each others throats all the time.

How long will you continue ?
I think I will continue until either I don’t need the money any more or when I start to look old. I can’t see me going on past my mid 30s like some girls do.

How could we book you ?
